We’ve received important news — the owners of The Green Man Pub have notified Sevenoaks Council that they intend to dispose of it

The Green Man Recovery Group is taking swift action for a second time. We’ve already advised Sevenoaks Council of our formal intention to bid for the site, in line with our ongoing efforts to restore and protect this vital community asset.

Crucially, the Asset of Community Value (ACV) is still in place. The ACV gives the opportunity for the community to bid for the site and look at rebuilding the pub. The ACV remains active for several more years, offering strong protection during this critical time.
