When the children at Culverstone Green Primary School heard about The Green Man being destroyed by fire, they shared their sadness and their hopes of seeing it rebuilt as a place for the whole community to enjoy once again.

About us

Hodsoll Street and Ridley are two very small hamlets on top of the North Downs. Neither has a shop, Hodsoll Street had a pub, The Green Man but it sadly burnt down in 2021, Ridley has a church, St Peters. The area around the green is classified as a conservation area and our Village Hall is also situated in it. It is managed by an enthusiastic committee who put on a number of events during the year for the enjoyment of the residents and to raise funds for its upkeep and renovation.

The Hall is also for hire.
